Virtual reality

Simulation is an essential tool for studying complex systems. They are used to carry out a wide range virtual experiments that would be impossible in the real world.

Visual displays allow the user to see phenomena that would be missed if the output were limited to (say) graphs or tables of numbers at the end. Virtual reality models go further by allowing the user to “enter” and explore an artificial world in more detail.

The models presented here are prototypes arising from projects by researchers.
